Tony Spilotro House

Spilotro

Built in 1974. This was the home of Anthony "Tony the Ant" Spilotro.


Spilotro was a member of the Chicago Outfit. He was sent to Las Vegas in the 1970s to oversee the skim of Frank "Lefty" Rosenthal at the Stardust Resort Casino. Spilotro operated a jewlery and gift shop under the name Anthony Stuart at the Circus Circus. At the time, Spilotro's defense attorney was future City of Las Vegas mayor Oscar Gooodman.

Tony Spilotro was added to the Nevada Gaming Control's Black Book in 1978.
