This is the location of the first built FBI field office.

In the 1940s and 1950s, the Salt Lake City Division operated a resident agency in Las Vegas. In 1961 a new Las Vegas division is created.

300 Fremont Street, Las Vegas, Nevada (1961).

301 South 11th Street, Las Vegas, Nevada (1961-1976).

300 Stewart Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada (1976-1988).

700 East Charleston Boulevard, Las Vegas, Nevada (1989-2006).

1787 West Lake Mead Boulvard, Las Vegas, Nevada (2007, current location).

In 1946 the FBI sends agents from the Salt Lake City Division to investigate Benjamin "Bugsy" Siegel during the construction of The Flamingo Hotel & Casino.
