Built in 1914 by Stephen R. Whitehead. This is the birth home of Betty Willis. Whitehead's daughter, Betty Willis would go on to design many iconic Las Vegas signs; The Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign. The Whiteheads moved to Las Vegas in the early 1920s.
The house was purchased by Albert and Era Jones. The house was also used a boarding house. Currently the house still remains within the Jones family.
