El Rancho Vegas motel rooms became Thunderbird West from 1962 to 1964.

Thunderbird renamed Silverbird on January 1, 1977.

55 hotel rooms are demolished to expand the casino in 1977.

Silverbird closed on December 3, 1981.

Reopened and renamed El Rancho Hotel and Casino on August 31, 1982.
