This illegaly established pet cemetary began when residents started burying their pets in the Eldorado Valley in 1931. The land was purchased by the City of Boulder City in 1995. Currently, the City of Boulder City prohibits pet burials.
This cemetary is also known as El Dorado Valley Pet Cemetery and Marwood Doud Cemetery.
Marwood Doud was a 1950s Boulder City veterinarian.
