Basic High School

Basic High School originally opened in 1942 and was located where the current Henderson City Hall is. The schoolhouse pictured above operated as Basic High School from 1954 to 1972. A new Basic High School was built in 1973 at 400 N. Palo Verde Drive.
The schoolhouse pictured above would become Burkholder Junior High from 1973 to 2004. The schoolhouse was demolished in 2006 and a new Burkholder middle school was built.
Was located on Van Wagenen Street near Pacific Avenue in Henderson, Nevada.
